LET’S EXPLORE TOGETHER

About Us
Vanishing Limits: Adventures for young adults on the spectrum who want to explore the world with friends.
Vanishing Limits is a Bay Area-based nonprofit. Our mission is to create interesting, social, and educational travel adventures for autistic young adults who are lower support needs. Before we ever hit the road, we host an online meetup and conduct short personal interviews to get to know each other, build trust and spark what we call group alchemy—the special kind of magic that happens when kind, open people come together with shared purpose.
Our travelers are adults with disabilities — autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other forms of neurodivergence — individuals who want to explore the world at their own pace, make genuine friendships, and grow through shared learning and low-pressure adventures. We travel in a single van, led by a trained and experienced facilitator, Maggie Pagan.
Everything we do is designed with intention, including:
Local day trips and overnight getaways that spark curiosity and joy
Thoughtful itineraries that mix exploration, reflection, and fun
Guided group conversations that encourage connection and self-expression
A sensory-considerate approach to travel, with room to opt in or out
Our hope is that longer-term friendships formed on these journeys will grow and deepen over time, with participants returning for future trips while building a warm, familiar community of fellow adventurers. This is more than a trip, it’s a way to belong, grow, and experience the world in good company.
Because every seat in the van matters.
